Landini 5-090D
The Landini tractor line-up expands with the introduction of the 5D Tier 4 Interim series. Developed as an evolution of the Powerfarm, the 5D tractor range comprises three models with power outputs from 85 to 102 hp: the 90, 100 and 110.
The Landini 5-090D is powered by the new Perkins 854E-E34TA 3.4L, fourcylinder, turbo-aftercooled engines meeting the Tier 4 Interim emission standards. Based on cutting-edge technology, these engines feature a two-valve cylinder head and a common rail injection system and deliver outstanding performance in terms of power, torque and fuel economy. The 5D tractors have a mechanical transmission with synchro shuttle lever under the steering wheel that provides four speeds in three ranges, offering 12 forward and 12 reverse gears, and can be combined with an overdrive and a creeper.
Besides new more-efficient engines, the 5D range also has a brand new look. The hood has been fully redesigned to reflect the new Landini family styling and the cab interior has been refreshed to offer the operator higher levels of ergonomics and comfort. The 5D tractors come in both two- and four-wheel drive version with either a cab or an iso-mounted platform giving this range all the versatility to tackle a wide variety of farming tasks.
NEW PERKINS TIER 4 INTERIM 854E-E34TA ENGINES
The 5D-T4i tractors are powered by the new Perkins 854E-E34TA four-cylinder turbo-aftercooled engines with two-valve cylinder head and electronic common rail injection system that provide power outputs from 85 to 102 hp. These 3.4-liter engines utilize an innovative exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR) in conjunction with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to meet the Tier 4 Interim emission regulations. These units incorporate advanced technologies that improve tractor performance in terms of power, torque and fuel economy. Fully reshaped to reflect the new Landini family style, the tilt-up hood opens wide to provide easy access to the engine compartment for routine service and maintenance.
